These terms apply to all bookings, inspections, call-outs, repairs and add-on services provided by Mobile Clutch Repair. By booking with us, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these terms.
The customer is responsible for supplying accurate vehicle and booking details, including registration number, vehicle model, engine details, service required, postcode and access information. If incorrect or incomplete details are supplied, we reserve the right to amend the quotation, refuse the work, or cancel the booking if the job cannot be completed safely or correctly.
It is the customer's responsibility to choose the correct service and any add-ons. If the customer is unsure which service applies, they should contact us for advice before booking.
Any booking deposit paid secures the appointment slot and forms part of the agreed repair cost. If we attend the vehicle address, the £50 deposit is non-refundable. Any remaining balance becomes due immediately on completion of the work and must be paid on the same day, not the next day.
Any unpaid invoice, outstanding balance or unpaid bill may be passed to a debt recovery or debt collection service, and any additional reasonable recovery costs may be added where legally permitted.
The vehicle must be located off-road, on solid, level and stable ground that is safe for jacking and mechanical work. We do not work on vehicles positioned in live traffic, on unstable ground, on significant inclines, or in any location that creates an avoidable safety risk.
The working area must provide safe access around the vehicle. A responsible adult must remain at the property or location while work is being carried out. If the work area, ground conditions or vehicle position are unsafe, we may refuse or stop the job.
Due to the nature of removing and refitting gearboxes and related components, we are not responsible for seized, corroded or snapped bolts, fittings or fixings that fail during removal. Vehicles may have hidden wear, corrosion or pre-existing faults that only become apparent once dismantling begins. If additional work is required, we will discuss this with the customer before continuing where possible.
We are not responsible for clutch master cylinders, hydraulic components or related parts failing during or after clutch bleeding procedures where those components already have underlying wear or faults.
During repairs it may be necessary to disconnect the battery or move surrounding components. We are not responsible for ABS wires, sensors, warning lights, stored fault codes, radio codes or other electrical issues that arise due to pre-existing weakness, corrosion, brittle wiring, prior repairs or battery disconnection. Our service is limited to the agreed repair or minor service booked.
We provide clutch replacement and the other minor services listed on the website, including selected add-ons and inspection call-outs where booked. An inspection service is a paid diagnostic visit and does not guarantee that a fixed repair price can be confirmed until the vehicle has been assessed.
Add-ons, including oil service, gearbox oil, warranty upgrades or other optional extras, are only included where selected and paid for as part of the booking or agreed in writing afterwards.
All website prices and quotes are subject to the vehicle matching the details supplied and the job being suitable for the booked service. If the vehicle differs from the description provided, if further faults are found, or if additional parts are required, the quote may be revised before work continues.
Any warranty offered does not cover burnt-out clutches, oil-contaminated clutches, misuse, abuse, racing, towing overload, related faults outside the replaced parts, or damage caused by another underlying vehicle defect. Where a clutch becomes contaminated by oil leaks or damaged by continued misuse, any warranty will be void.
We reserve the right to refuse, postpone or stop work if the booking details are wrong, the vehicle is unsafe to work on, the work requested differs materially from the booking, the customer refuses revised pricing, or the location and access are unsuitable for safe mobile repair.
